We intend our travel section to be one of the largest that Live Listings has. In addition to the huge amout of countries readily available to the traveller we shall have a very strong presence in the world of camping, particularly in France as the editor is a complete Francophile and intends to move there at some point in the future - as soon as his wife deigns to learn a word or two of the language. For "camping" read "staying in a mobile home" rather than spending cold, wet nights under canvas which is something that only for the foolhardy in the editor's view.
This section will eventually cover hotels worldwide and also the means to reach said hotels, ie, flights and ferries, if and only if we can obtain a certain amount of internet help in terms of mentions on their websites from the airlines and ferry companies.
The travel section already encompasses such things as caravans and mobile homes for sale and hire, cheap flights and holiday offers, though there is much work to be done yet. We do not and cannot attain the highest SE placements for all the search terms that will be used but a good listing on page 2 will be the aim, hopefully edging to page one with longeivity.
