Phone numbers for Businesses
Well it isn’t rocket science is it? Making your business phone numbers as memorable as possible so that your customers can remember them easily, and so it is that the easier your number is to remember the more likely you are to receive repeat calls from clients. Q.E.D.
Technology moves on apace and as ever at the forefront of technology is the communications industry, which in a way means phones, and as the telecommunications business often funds that technology they have the pick of the best and most memorable numbers for themselves, and of course, to sell on to their own customers.
That being the case it is unsurprising that there is a plethora of business phone numbers for sale: 0845 numbers, 0844’s, 0800 numbers and so on. One thing which we, the unsuspecting public, are left to find out about for ourselves the hard way is which numbers are free these days? Which business phones charge us an arm and a leg to call, and which we only find out about a couple of months later when the larger than average telephone bill flops onto the doormat?
“Aha,” I hear you mutter, reading this, “This chap and I have something in common here!” Ah yes, I am rather on the ball with these things and I know that 0800 numbers are free so I can call them and talk for hours, safe in the knowledge that it costeth me nought, but as to the others I have to confess that I have as little knowledge about them as Manuel in Faulty Towers had.
So in conclusion, all we have determined here is that some business phone numbers are memorable, and those numbers are being called round the clock, whereas some numbers have to be looked up or Heavens above, written down and the poor, sad owners of same are steadily becoming bankrupt because nobody calls them.
