Located between Bloomsbury to the East and Marylebone and North of Soho or Oxford Street. Fitzrovia is known as a neighbourhood in Central London. Like most of London it is characterised by mixed use of retail, businesses, residential. Given its locality to Soho Fitzrovia has become well known for accommodating both media and advertising companies.

Where the Middlesex Hospital was located in Fitzrovia the site was acquired by a developer called Candy and Candy who demolished the property to make way for a development suitable for both housing and retail. They called it NoHo Square however the scheme eventually collapsed due to the credit crunch.
A number of businesses are based in Fitrovia such as HOK Architects, MTV and many other media firms such as Informa and Digital UK. The area is also well known for being close to the BT Tower.
